Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. This degree is extremely valuable in the heat treat industry due to the high dependency on both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines in the design and production of vacuum furnace systems. Prior to his career with Solar Manufacturing, Nick worked for the systems integration industry, gaining experience in programming PLCs, HMIs, and data acquisition systems. Nick carried that knowledge to Solar Manufacturing and joined as an Electrical Engineer, serving for several years before increasing his responsibilities upon promotion to the role of Service Manager. Nick routinely handles troubleshooting issues and customer service on a highly technical level, and has three Service Engineers who report to him. Nick is a past ASM Philadelphia Liberty Bell Chapter President and a graduate of the MTI YES program. He has made multiple technical presentations at industry trade shows. With so many technical and managerial contributions already made in his relatively short professional career path, Nick certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
