Andrew Perfetti’s optimism and ability to see solutions all while teaching, training, and coaching the entire team to success have shown that “give up” simply is not in his vocabulary. In three years, Andrew has taken his theoretical knowledge from his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of California, Irvine and has spent countless hours applying these skills in continual improvement projects throughout the company. Andrew graduated in the inaugural “How to Be a Great Boss” program, is a member of Vistage International's Emerging Leaders Program, and is enrolled in the Metal Treating Institute’s prestigious YES program class of 2022.

Throughout his time at Thermal-Vac Technology, Andrew has overhauled a 20-year-old process to reinvent, reinvigorate, and streamline to reduce waste and nonconformance potential, designed and implemented a cross-functional all-encompassing project management system to create visibility and efficiency within the engineering and operational teams, and identified a key component to a material issue causing product impact through test matrices, root cause investigation, and process management and worked with the supplier to correct it. Andrew also transformed a top 10 customer relationship from a price-based focus to a quality-based focus with an investment in continual improvement as well as gaining access to engineering teams to overhaul the governing specifications. Andrew’s results are nothing short of transformational.
