As a third-generation heat treater, David grew up working high school and college summers on the shop floor at Winston. He rejoined full time in 2012 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University.

Becoming president in 2017, David has grown the company in size, sales, and scope. Under his leadership, Winston has earned Merit status, expanded its aerospace and tooling base, and achieved national recognition as 2017's Commercial Heat Treater of the Year.

As a lifetime MTI attendee, David is a 2013 YES graduate and has served on its cyber security committee. He is an active member of the Dayton Region Manufacturer's Association, serving on the Board of Trustees and various committees.
