Humberto Torres

Sánchez's skill as a metallurgist is evident in his experience in the automotive industry, first at TREMEC, then at General Motors, and currently at ZF Group. At TREMEC, Humberto worked to develop the process of normalizing and annealing for forging parts. At GM Mexico, Humberto was a metallurgical leader, developing low pressure carburizing for gears on a startup plant.

In his present position as the chief metallurgist, he is responsible for quality system laboratories, induction hardening, and carburizing process. Humberto is currently working to develop the process of induction hardening in a plant transferring project. Additionally, he steps up as the lead auditor for both CQI-9 and CQI-15 and boasts experience as an internal and external auditor.
