John Chesna is a graduate from the University of Akron with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. While in school, he was an active member of the Society of Mechanical Engineering Technology Students (SMETS). In 2015, John joined Induction Tooling, Inc. as a mechanical engineer. Now, he is the general manager. John's prior work in the electrical industry gave him the ability to quickly understand induction heat treating processes.

As the general manager, John's leadership skills shine. His professional, positive, and friendly demeanor has built trust and respect with his coworkers and customers. John is enthusiastic to work with technical staff, and he continually seeks to better understand the induction design, manufacturing, and laboratory processes at Induction Tooling, Inc. His competent work, ability to perform a wide range of assignments, management of interruptions without annoyance, and knowledge of IT have helped Induction Tooling, Inc. streamline administrative functions, resulting in better production scheduling and on-time delivery.
