Salvador Monreal, manager of Engineering, is young and ambitious and will continue to lead Contour Hardening to a bright future. Salvador began working at Contour Hardening in 2015 as an intern. In this role, he successfully assisted in installing an induction hardening system for a customer in Mexico. This success led to his full-time employment as a mechanical and electrical engineer. His ability to lead others and solve problems by viewing the broader perspective led Salvador to be promoted to engineering manager in 2021.

As a team player, Salvador helps to promote the business and the objectives of Contour's core business. Skills like this are hard to find in these competitive times. Recently, Salvador earned his master's degree in Information Technology, which he will use to create better practices in the heat treat environment. Additionally, Salvador has experience with Six Sigma, PLCs, FMEA, and ISO. Salvador's hard work and dedication are continually providing the Contour Hardening Mexico facility with an organized and structured environment.
