Ted Hill is the go-to project engineer at Paulo. Ted works tirelessly on his projects, often managing four or five projects at a time. Recently, Ted completed Fall Protection Qualified Person training, giving him the ability to design active fall protection programs. Ted is willing to travel for project work anytime he is asked, and he regularly pitches in to help plants and customers. For instance, in late 2021, Ted volunteered to apply carbon stop-off paint to parts to help a Paulo plant through a labor shortage.

At Paulo, Ted both leads and participates in cross-functional project teams. Selected by Paulo's leadership team, Ted is a member of a team tasked with finding company-wide productivity improvements equal to 1% of annual company sales. He is also a facilitator on another team tasked with increasing team member engagement.

Ted was instrumental in designing three load systems that can convey and lift loads weighing more than 18,000 pounds. These load systems were required for a large expansion at one of Paulo's facilities in 2021. Not only did he help design these load systems, but he also managed the initial building changes for this expansion without travelling to that facility. This was a $10MM+ expansion that was completed on time and on budget thanks in large part to Ted's participation on the team.
