Víctor Zacarías – Heat Treat Today 40 Under 40
Víctor Zacarías is one of the owners of Global Thermal Solutions (GTS), a pyrometry lab in Querétaro, Mexico. Before beginning GTS, Víctor earned a bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus in Metallurgical Engineering. He was a manufacturing engineer in the heat treating and brazing department at Industria de Turbo Propulsores and head of the metallurgical laboratory at Dana Holding Corporation. Now, Víctor spends a good deal of time organizing, hosting, and presenting at technical article sessions for the industry, bringing people together to share knowledge, practical solutions, and technical expertise. In addition to running the day-to-day operations of GTS, Víctor has become a thought leader in the industry. Recently, Víctor's article, "Pyrometry: The Standard for Reliable Thermal Processing in Automotive and Aerospace Industries," was published in Heat Treat Today's March 2022 Aerospace Heat Treating print edition, both in English and in Spanish.
Víctor's leadership and personal management style have successfully navigated the company to growth, especially during these last difficult years.
