Since his initial hire date in January 2012, Luke Wright has dedicated himself to developing a high level of functional expertise across our complete range of heat treatment processes. In 2014 and 2016, Luke managed the installation of two new heat treatment lines. His normal work scope includes covering metallurgist duties, insuring compliance with multiple audit requirements, and collaborating with other JTEKT locations in Europe and Asia. He is currently pursuing the ASM Heat Treat & Ferrous Metallurgy Certification path, and has become our resident subject matter expert, especially in the areas of carburizing atmosphere reactions and temperature uniformity. Luke works with a team of other engineers and technicians to continuously improve the consistency and reliability of our heat treatment operations. His technical contribution, as a critical member of the JTEKT Koyo team, promotes the company's continued success as a tier-one automotive thrust-bearing supplier.
