Driven by the unknown, Alino Te has a passion for continuous evolving learning and knowledge. Alino wants to learn as much as he can to become an expert in his field of materials science. His experiences in solidification and metallography have tremendously transformed over the years as he streamlines powder production at Powders on Demand within Solvus Global.

Alino obtained his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). This led Alino to pursue further education in Materials Science and Engineering in the Advanced Casting Research Center arm of the Metal Processing Institute for his master's degree at WPI.

As a designated materials engineer for Solvus Global, Alino is focused on the development and distribution of state-of-the-art powders from  a perspective of digital sales and fulfilment and the point of view of structural applications. Alino is the first point of contact for nearly all powder product orders. His customer service is impeccable as is his technical knowledge on novel materials and metallic powders. Alino is eager to provide customized powder solutions to equipment manufacturers, fabrication houses, and research organizations across the globe.

Alino exerts a strong level of passion in his quality assurance of powders within the high-fidelity additive manufacturing space. He conducts multi-point inspections on raw feedstock through post-production powders to guarantee the quality of each batch sent out. He also thermally processes powders for microstructural or surface chemistry control while ensuring microstructural optimization, moisture removal, size classification, blending, agglomeration, and granulation operations of materials. Alino is a scholarship recipient of the North American Die Casting Association and a member of ASM International.
