In August 2005, Amy Azzano began her time at Arrow Gear Company as chief metallurgist and heat treat manager until 2017. Amy then moved to work at Rexnord as a special process manager, where she coordinated the installation and qualification testing of a new vacuum heat treat line and maintained Nadcap accreditation, obtaining merit status.

She returned to Arrow Gear Company two years later in March 2019 as the director of Heat Treat. Amy worked on a team that coordinated the renovation of a building on campus, the transfer of existing equipment (including a metallurgical laboratory) to the renovated building, and the installation of a new endothermic atmosphere line. She also created the procedures for the new equipment, requalified existing equipment, trained the operators, and performed AMS2750 and AMS2759 qualification testing. She continues to maintain Nadcap accreditation with merit.

Amy is skilled in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, 5S, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing.
