Anne Goyer, President of Goyer Management International recently announced the hiring of Sheila LaMothe as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Goyer Management International.
LaMothe comes to GMI from Trumpf, Inc., manufacturer of machine tools, laser technology, and electronics. She was the Associate Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Trumpf where she worked for fifteen years. In addition, LaMothe serves on the board of directors of Women in Manufacturing (WiM) and the Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation (WiMEF). She also founded and chaired WiM’s Connecticut chapter.

She will be working on a series of strategic initiatives for GMI clients. In particular, she will focus a great deal of effort on our student initiatives. GMI’s association clients are committed to educating the future generation of manufacturing workers about terrific career opportunities available in the finishing industry.”
LaMothe, who will be based out of GMI’s office in Sarasaota, Florida, will be responsible for education and outreach with technical schools, colleges, and universities; FABTECH presentation; and development of new projects.
