Brian Jacobs joined the Technical Sales team at Ajax Tocco Magnethermic® after earning his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Youngstown State University in 2008. He gained experience in several product lines, including bar and tube, flat products, and forging, before transitioning to our heat treating products group, where he spent several years working as a heat treating applications engineer. Brian excelled quickly in the technical aspects of heat treating applications. His expanded experience and knowledge in heat treating applications, combined with the equipment proficiency required to meet our customer’s critical production requirements, has progressed his career to his current position of heat treating manager. He communicates closely with customers and co-workers to assure mutually beneficial outcomes for all. The industry recognizes Brian’s knowledge, as well, earning him several presentation spots and published papers at various heat treat conferences. Brian balances work with family and cherishes his weekends with his children.
